Paving on October 26th

On Friday October 26th, Peter Baker & Sons, Inc. will be paving the final asphaltic surface layer on Forest Road.
Tomorrow morning, the roadway will be cleaned and prepared prior to paving including some existing pavement removal to ensure the proper depth is achieved.
Mid-morning on Friday, October 26th, the existing asphalt surface will be coated with fresh oil and sand.
The layer of sand is installed to help prevent tracking of oil onto your driveways. Please keep you driving to a minimum while the oil dries. If you must drive on the oil, please drive slowly to help prevent splattering on your vehicle.
All cars must be removed from Forest Road between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Friday. Parking is available on Laramie or Juniper during daytime working hours.
Access to driveways will be available throughout the day; however, there may be short delays during the paving operations. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.
Thank you again for your patience as this final layer of asphaltic pavement is installed.

This week PirTano installed the additional storm sewer and concrete curb & gutter around the southerly cul-de-sac.

Access to driveways around the cul-de-sac is to be restored by Tuesday, October 23rd, night.

Next week the contractor anticipates to perform asphalt surface milling where required and installation of asphaltic surface pavement and driveways. The residents will be notified once the schedule is confirmed by the contractor.  No parking will be allowed along the roadway during asphaltic surface milling and paving.

Thank you for your patience throughout the construction season.

The options for the improvements around the cul-de-sac have been considered and resolution has been determined. The Village will install new concrete curb & gutter around the entire cul-de-sac and add one new storm structure.

PirTano Construction is anticipating to begin work in the cul-de-sac on Tuesday, October 16th.

Once the cul-de-sac improvements are completed, the final asphaltic surface will be installed.

For those residents who live on or near the cul-de-sac, there will be times when access to your driveway will be restricted. The Village will notify you prior to your access being restricted.

Thank you for your patience throughout the construction season.

We are still in the process of evaluating various options for improvements at the cul-de-sac on the south end of the roadway. Asphalt surface paving has been placed on hold until these options have been fully considered and a resolution determined.
